The Amansie Central District Chief Executive will stay in his office. This is while he is being investigated.

A spokesperson for the Lands Ministry, Paa Kwesi Schandorf, said this is not a problem. He stated the DCE's presence has not harmed the ongoing probe.

Mr. Schandorf spoke to reporters on Monday, March 16.

The reason for the investigation is not yet clear.

The Ministry believes allowing the DCE to continue working will not interfere with any findings.

Official statements from the Lands Ministry confirm this position.

The investigation is proceeding as normal.
