Two Nigerian men, Ifeanyi Chuku and Chukwudi Okoro, have been remanded in police custody. This follows their appearance before an Accra Circuit Court.
The court ordered their remand based on charges of alleged ATM fraud. The accused are alleged to have defrauded a Ghanaian citizen.
The amount involved in the alleged fraud is GH¢3,500.00. This sum was reportedly taken through ATM fraud.
The Accra Circuit Court has taken custody of the two Nigerian nationals. They will remain in police custody as investigations continue.
