Accra police have arrested two Nigerian nationals in connection with an alleged visa fraud. The suspects are Emeka Okoro and Ifeanyi John.
They were apprehended by the Accra Regional Police Command at their residence in East Legon.
The police allege the men defrauded a Ghanaian client of $35,000. This was done under the pretense of securing Australian visas for the client.
Investigators are examining the evidence related to the transactions.
The Ghana Police Service stated that the operation followed an intelligence-led investigation.
