Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested two men, Kwabena Opoku and Musah Iddrisu. They are accused of scamming people who wanted to buy cars online.

The Ghana Police Service reports that the suspects allegedly took a total of GH¢382,000 from their victims. This money was given in exchange for vehicles that were never provided.

The arrests were made by the Ashanti Regional Police Command. The operation targeted individuals suspected of online fraud.

Authorities state that the victims believed they were purchasing vehicles. They paid money to the suspects based on these online promises.
