Police in Odumase-Krobo have arrested three individuals on suspicion of counterfeiting US dollars. The arrests followed a raid on a suspected hideout. The operation took place in the Eastern Region.

The suspects were identified as Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54. They were apprehended at a location in Laasi.

During the raid, law enforcement officers discovered a quantity of counterfeit US dollars. The exact amount is currently part of the ongoing investigation.

The Ghana Police Service is leading the investigation into the matter. Authorities are working to determine the full extent of the counterfeiting operation.
