Police in Odumase-Krobo have arrested three individuals suspected of printing fake United States dollars. The suspects were apprehended in the Eastern Region.
Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54, were taken into custody.
The arrests followed a raid on a hideout located in the Laasi area of Odumase-Krobo.
Authorities discovered counterfeit US dollar bills at the location. The amount of counterfeit money seized is part of the ongoing investigation.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the origins and distribution network of the fake currency.
