Police in Odumase-Krobo, Eastern Region, have arrested three individuals suspected of counterfeiting United States dollars. The arrests followed a raid on a hideout by the police.
The suspects apprehended have been identified as Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54. Fake United States dollar bills were reportedly found during the operation.
Authorities conducted the operation at a location in Laasi within Odumase-Krobo. The police stated that the raid was based on intelligence gathered regarding the alleged counterfeiting activities.
