Police in Odumase-Krobo, Eastern Region, have arrested three men for allegedly printing counterfeit US dollars. The suspects were apprehended after a police raid on their hideout in the Laasi area.

The individuals arrested have been identified as Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54. Authorities seized counterfeit US dollars during the operation.

The Eastern Regional Police Command confirmed the arrests and the seizure of illicit currency.

Investigations into the operation are ongoing to identify other potential members of the network and the extent of their activities.

This action is part of broader efforts by the Ghana Police Service to combat financial crimes and protect the public from fraud.
