Police in Odumase-Krobo, Eastern Region, arrested three suspects in connection with counterfeiting US dollars. The arrests were made after a raid on a hideout.

The suspects are Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54.

The Ghana Police Service confirmed the incident and the seizure of counterfeit US dollars from the premises.

Authorities are investigating the full extent of the operation and how long the suspects had been producing fake currency.

This operation prevents fake money from entering circulation, which can harm businesses and individuals.

Further investigations are underway to determine if others were involved.
