Police in Odumase-Krobo have arrested three men suspected of counterfeiting US dollars. The arrests followed a police raid on a hideout in Laasi, Eastern Region.

The individuals apprehended are Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54. Police found counterfeit US dollar bills at the location.

The Ghana Police Service is leading the investigation into the matter. Authorities confirmed the arrests and the seizure of counterfeit currency.

The operation aimed to disrupt criminal activities involving the production of fake money.
