Police in Odumase-Krobo have arrested three suspects accused of counterfeiting US dollars. The suspects were apprehended after police raided their hideout.
The arrested individuals are Ebenezer Natsu, 20, George Attor, 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, 54. They were found in their hideout in Laasi, according to the Ghana Police Service.
During the raid, police discovered counterfeit US dollar currency. The quantity and value of the counterfeit money are part of the ongoing investigation.
The Eastern Regional Police command is leading the investigation into the operation. Authorities stated that more details will be released as the case progresses.
