Police officers in Odumase-Krobo, located in the Eastern Region, have arrested three individuals. They are suspected of being involved in counterfeiting United States dollars.

The suspects have been identified as Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, aged 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, aged 54. The arrests followed a police raid on a hideout.

During the raid, police officers discovered counterfeit US dollars. The exact amount is not yet specified by authorities.

The operation was conducted following intelligence received by the police. The hideout was located in the Laasi area of Odumase-Krobo.
