Police in Odumase-Krobo have arrested three men. They are suspected of printing fake US dollars. The arrests were made after officers raided a hideout.
The suspects are Ebenezer Natsu, aged 20, George Attor, 48, and Bishop Robert Olertey, 54. They were apprehended at Laasi, a location within Odumase-Krobo.
Authorities took the suspects into custody following the raid. The exact amount of counterfeit money seized has not been detailed.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Ghana Police Service to combat financial crimes.
Investigations are continuing to determine the full extent of the operation and identify any other individuals involved.
