Police in Odumase-Krobo in the Eastern Region have arrested three people. They are suspected of creating fake US dollars. The arrests happened after police raided a hideout in Laasi.
The Ghana Police Service stated that counterfeit US dollar notes were discovered at the location.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ebenezer Natsu aged 20. George Attor aged 48 was also arrested. Bishop Robert Olertey aged 54 is the third suspect.
