Police in Takoradi have arrested more than twenty people. They are suspected of being part of a group that committed mobile money fraud.
The arrests were made by the Takoradi Divisional Police Command. This happened in the Western Region.
These individuals are believed to be involved in a large mobile money fraud operation.
Investigations are continuing. Police want to find out how widespread this fraud syndicate is.
The Ghana Police Service is working to gather more information on the case.
