Police have charged a self-styled pastor and his wife with romance fraud. Nana Yaw Bonsu Kwarteng allegedly used Instagram to pose as a pastor.
The Ghana Police Service states that Kwarteng and his wife defrauded seven women. The alleged crimes occurred over a period of time.
Authorities report that the couple also blackmailed some of the women. This involved using intimate images shared in trust.
The suspects are facing multiple charges related to fraud and blackmail.
