A retired Fire Officer has been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court. The bail amount was set at GH¢350,000.
The officer is accused of running an enlistment scam. He allegedly took money from people seeking jobs.
Court documents state that 60 applicants were involved. They reportedly paid a total of GH¢303,200.
The alleged scam targeted individuals hoping to join the Fire Service.
The case is currently before the Accra Circuit Court.
Further court proceedings are expected.
