Police in Odumase-Krobo have stopped a group of people trying to pass off fake money.
Three men were arrested on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. They had more than one million US dollars in fake bills.
The arrests happened after police received information. Detective Corporal Williams Asante led the operation for the Odumase-Krobo Police Command.
During the arrest, the suspects tried to bribe the officers. They offered 200,000 Ghana cedis to avoid being taken into custody.
