Police officers in Odumase Krobo have refused a substantial bribe. They rejected GHC200,000 offered to them by suspects.
The suspects were apprehended after police discovered a large quantity of suspected fake US dollars. The discovery was made at Odumase Laasi in Odumase Krobo.
Authorities found 105 bundles of the counterfeit currency. These were concealed inside a metal trunk.
The police have not accepted the bribe. They are continuing their investigation into the matter.
