Police officers in Odumase Krobo have refused a bribe of GH¢200,000. The money was offered by suspects involved in a case of suspected counterfeit currency. The suspects were arrested after the seizure of the money.

The police found 105 bundles of what they believe to be fake US dollar notes. These were discovered hidden inside a metal trunk. The location of the seizure was Odumase Laasi.

The Ghana Police Service is investigating the origin of the suspected fake currency. The amount seized is a significant quantity of counterfeit bills.

Authorities confirmed the rejection of the bribe by the officers on duty. This action upholds the integrity of law enforcement operations against crime.
