Police officers in Odumase Krobo have refused a bribe of GH¢200,000.
The money was offered by suspects arrested in connection with the seizure of counterfeit currency.
The suspects attempted to bribe the officers after police discovered 105 bundles of suspected fake US dollars.
The fake money was found hidden inside a metal trunk.
The discovery and arrests took place at Odumase Laasi.
The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the incident.
Further investigations into the counterfeit operation are ongoing.
