Officers in Odumase Krobo have rejected a bribe of GH¢200,000 from individuals suspected of possessing counterfeit currency.
The money was offered by suspects after police discovered 105 bundles of what appeared to be fake US dollars. These were hidden inside a metal trunk.
The discovery and subsequent events took place at Odumase Laasi.
The Ghana Police Service stated that the bribe was refused and the suspects were apprehended.
The seized items are now part of ongoing investigations.
