A police officer, identified as G/Sgt Isaac Asare Mensah, has been arrested in the Upper East Region in connection with an alleged fraud involving mobile money transactions. The officer is accused of defrauding two mobile money vendors.
The suspect reportedly collected an amount of GH¢8,700 in e-cash from the vendors and subsequently disappeared without making any payment. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
