Law enforcement is trying to find a Nigerian man called Emeka Okonkwo. He is wanted for allegedly taking GHS500,000 from a Ghanaian businessman.
The money was reportedly taken through a fake investment plan. The Economic and Organised Crime Office is in charge of the investigation.
The Ghana Police Service has not yet provided more details about when or where the alleged fraud took place.
Officials are asking anyone with information about Emeka Okonkwo's whereabouts to come forward.
Police state that investigations are ongoing to recover the stolen funds and bring the suspect to justice.
