Over 100 people are said to have invested money with the pastor. The total amount involved is GHS3 million.
The Accra Circuit Court has ordered the pastor to be held in police custody. This allows the police to continue their investigation.
The pastor is accused of running a fraudulent investment scheme.
The case is being handled by the Ghana Police Service.
