An Accra Circuit Court has ordered a pastor to be kept in police custody. This is in connection with allegations of fraud.

The pastor is accused of taking approximately GH₵1 million from a group of people who invested their money.

He allegedly promised these investors very high returns on their money.

However, the promised returns and the original investments never materialized.

The court made the remand order after considering the details of the case presented by the prosecution.

The Ghana Police Service is investigating the matter further.

This situation highlights the risks associated with investment schemes that promise unusually high returns.
