A Ghanaian pastor has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by the Nsuta Circuit Court for defrauding a teacher.
The pastor, Stephen Yaw Gyamfi, pleaded guilty to scamming Abigail Darkwah out of US$4,300 (GH¢73,100) by promising a non-existent teaching job in Malaysia. The court handed down the sentence after the guilty plea.
