Police have arrested a pastor accused of defrauding members of his congregation. The alleged fraud involves approximately GHS500,000.
The pastor is accused of promising unrealized investment returns to church members.
Congregants reportedly lost substantial amounts of money through these alleged deceptions.
The Ghana Police Service is investigating the claims of financial impropriety.
The alleged victims are said to have been promised high returns on their investments.
These investments, however, never yielded the promised profits, leading to financial ruin for some members.
Authorities will present the case in court following the investigation.
