Authorities have apprehended a 32-year-old Nigerian national in Accra in connection with an alleged illegal refuse dumping operation. The suspect is accused of posing as a legitimate waste collector.
The individual reportedly operated in the vicinity of UTC, soliciting payments from residents for waste disposal services that were never rendered. The arrest was made around 3:00 AM following an intelligence-led operation based on a tip-off.
