Authorities have apprehended a Nigerian national, identified as a cement block manufacturer residing in Oyarifa, Accra, in connection with a string of fraudulent Point of Sale (POS) transactions. The suspect is alleged to have engaged in debit card fraud amounting to $10,000.
The arrested individual has reportedly admitted to the charges. Investigations revealed the fraudulent activities occurred at Shell and Total filling stations across Ghana. The arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to combat financial crimes within the country.
