A woman has reported an alleged extortion incident involving a Mobile Money agent who reportedly demanded an additional GH¢20 to process a GH¢2,000 deposit into her personal account.
The complainant stated that she was asked for the extra fee by the agent before her funds could be credited. Following the incident, she reportedly contacted MTN, who confirmed that no such additional charges are permissible for deposits. The woman is now seeking further action regarding the alleged overcharge.
