A man has been remanded into police custody. Mustapha Hamidu, aged 26, is accused of selling broken tiles packaged as mobile phones.
The Accra Circuit Court heard the case. Mrs Faustina Mensah presided over the court.
Hamidu pleaded not guilty to the charges. The charges include attempting to commit a crime.
He allegedly defrauded unsuspecting persons. This was done by selling them broken tiles disguised as genuine mobile phones.
