An Accra High Court has sentenced a Ghanaian man to five years imprisonment with hard labour.
The court found the man guilty of defrauding a foreign investor.
He was found to have defrauded the investor of GHC 200,000.
This happened through a fake land sale. The court convicted him of conspiracy to commit crime and fraud.
The Judicial Service confirmed the sentencing.
