An Accra Magistrate Court has heard a case against Kwame Asante, a 42-year-old man accused of fraud.

The Ghana Police Service states Asante allegedly deceived a businesswoman.

He is accused of promising her a very profitable contract.

Asante is said to have taken GHS 50,000 from the businesswoman.

He appeared in court on March 29, 2026.

Asante entered a plea of not guilty.

The court is now handling the legal proceedings.

The case is ongoing.
