Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a 35-year-old man. He is accused of pretending to be a lawyer.
The Ghana Police Service stated the suspect allegedly collected GH¢6,000 from a client. This money was reportedly given with the promise of securing the client's freedom from police holding.
The arrest was made by the Ashanti Regional Police. The investigation is ongoing.
Officials are looking into the alleged fraud and impersonation.
