Police in Accra have arrested a 35-year-old man named Kwadwo Mensah. He is accused of pretending to be a military officer.
Mensah allegedly tricked a trader into giving him GH¢7,000. This happened in Accra.
He reportedly promised the trader a chance to work on a valuable contract. The contract never happened.
The Ghana Police Service announced the arrest. They are continuing their investigation into the matter.
Mensah is facing charges related to fraud and impersonation.
