Accra Police have arrested a 42-year-old man. He is suspected of defrauding a businesswoman.
The man allegedly took GHS 180,000 from her. He told her it was for a profitable investment opportunity.
The businesswoman later realised she had been tricked. She reported the matter to the police.
Investigators from the Ghana Police Service apprehended the suspect.
He is currently being held by the police. Further investigations into the alleged scam are underway.
