Police in Accra have arrested a man in connection with an alleged investment fraud. The man is accused of defrauding several investors.
The total amount involved is estimated to be around GHC5 million. This was according to a Ghana Police Service statement.
Authorities are urging anyone who believes they may have been a victim of this scheme to come forward. More people may have lost money.
The male suspect was apprehended in Accra. The police are continuing their investigation into the alleged fraudulent scheme.
