Police have arrested a man for allegedly defrauding a businesswoman. The suspect is accused of taking GH₵200,000 from the victim.
The man reportedly promised a profitable investment deal. The businesswoman believed the man and gave him the money.
After receiving the funds, the suspect allegedly vanished. The victim then reported the incident to the police.
Authorities apprehended the suspect. He is currently assisting the police with their investigation into the alleged fraud.
The Ghana Police Service stated the arrest followed an official complaint from the victim.
