A 35-year-old man has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in Accra. He is accused of impersonating a police officer.
The suspect allegedly collected GH₵7,000 from a truck driver. This happened after he reportedly told the driver he was caught transporting goods without proper documentation.
Authorities stated the man presented a fake police identity card to the driver to support his claim.
The arrest was made by the Ghana Police Service in Accra.
Further investigations are underway regarding the alleged impersonation and extortion.
