Immigration officers in Accra have arrested four Nigerian men. These men allegedly tricked Ghanaians into paying them money. They promised to help people get visas to travel to other countries.

The arrests were made by the Ghana Immigration Service. The agency is investigating the alleged fraud scam.

Officials stated that the suspects collected money from individuals hopeful of travelling overseas.

These Ghanaians reportedly paid the suspects with the belief they would receive legitimate travel documents.

An investigation is now underway. Authorities are working to identify any other victims who may have been defrauded.

The immigration service is also looking for any possible accomplices who might have helped in the scheme.

The suspects are currently in the custody of the Ghana Immigration Service.

Further actions will be taken based on the ongoing investigation and evidence gathered.
