The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has arrested two individuals. They are accused of making and distributing fake "Dr Alfred Capsules." These capsules were marketed online as a supplement to boost male vitality.

Laboratory tests conducted by the FDA revealed that the falsified capsules contained sildenafil citrate. This substance is a prescription-only drug.

The FDA stated that the sale of such unapproved and falsified medicines poses a serious health risk to the public.

The agency is continuing its investigations into the full extent of the distribution network.

The FDA urges the public to report any suspected unwholesome or falsified products to them.

Consumers are advised to always check for FDA approval numbers on products before purchase.
