Police have arrested a man accused of pretending to be a lawyer. The suspect is alleged to have defrauded a businessman.
The man reportedly took GH₵200,000 from the businessman. He allegedly promised to settle a court case for the victim.
Ghana Police Service investigations revealed the suspect did not provide any legal services.
The businessman reported the incident to the police after realising he had been scammed.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
The arrest was made following a report by the victim.
