An elderly couple in Cape Coast has been defrauded by individuals posing as land buyers. The couple lost a significant amount of money in the alleged scam.
The swindlers reportedly took payment for a parcel of land. The land ownership was never legally transferred to the couple.
The Ghana Police Service is currently investigating the matter. Investigators are examining the validity of the documents presented by the suspects.
