The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has seized over 130 vehicles suspected of being cloned.

This action was made possible by new vehicle inspection technology recently introduced by the DVLA.

The DVLA Chief Executive Officer, Julius Neequaye Kotey, confirmed the seizures.

He stated that the vehicles are believed to be cloned or linked to tax evasion.

This operation is part of the DVLA's ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with vehicle registration laws.

The new technology allows for more thorough checks during vehicle inspections.

The DVLA aims to prevent fraudulent activities related to vehicle ownership and registration.

Further investigations are expected into the seized vehicles and their owners.
