Police in Accra have arrested a 45-year-old man. This arrest is in connection with allegations of defrauding several people.
The amount involved is reported to be approximately GH₵800,000.
Authorities say the suspect lured victims by promising them non-existent investment opportunities.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the matter.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
