Police in the Eastern Region have arrested eleven men. They are accused of pretending to be National Security operatives.

The arrests happened in Aboa, a farming community in the Yilo Krobo Municipality. The suspects allegedly wore uniforms to deceive people.

Authorities say the men went from one community to another demanding money. They targeted residents, especially those involved in growing cannabis.

The Eastern Regional Police Command confirmed the arrests. The suspects are currently in police custody.
