An Accra High Court has handed down a 15-year prison sentence to two men. They were found guilty of attempting to smuggle a large quantity of marijuana.
The Narcotics Control Commission officers apprehended the individuals at a roadblock. They were in possession of approximately 500 kilograms of the illegal substance.
The court convicted and sentenced the two men for the attempted smuggling operation.
