An Accra High Court has sent two men to prison for drug offenses. Kwabena Mensah and Yaw Boateng were each sentenced to 10 years in jail with hard labour.
The court found them guilty of trafficking cocaine. They were found with 50 kilograms of the illegal substance.
The sentencing took place on March 13, 2026. This is according to court filings.
Cocaine trafficking is a serious crime in Ghana. It carries a significant penalty.
