Police in the Volta Region have arrested two men. They were found with approximately 50 kilograms of dried leaves. These leaves are believed to be Indian hemp a type of drug.
The arrest took place on the Ho-Aflao road. Police officers were conducting routine checks when they stopped the suspects.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed the seizure. Authorities stated that the suspects were taken into custody immediately following their apprehension.
